Leaked databases revealed that Darya Shmanai received a notice from the Russian Federal Bailiff Service in April 2023 regarding a 3,000-ruble debt for an administrative violation. The letter was sent to Lukashenko’s former protocol officer at her Moscow address: 2 Leningradsky Avenue.

Buro has learned that Alexander Moshensky, the owner of the Santa Bremor holding, purchased this 105-square-metre apartment in May 2003. He remains the sole owner of the Moscow property to this day.

Alexander Moshensky is a businessman who is close to Aleksandr Lukashenko. He was the politician's proxy in the 2010 election. The businessman attended Lukashenko's "secret inauguration" in 2020. Until July 2025, Moshensky was a member of the Central Board of the Presidential Sports Club, which is controlled by Dmitry Lukashenko.

In May 2025, Alexander Moshensky was relieved of his position as honorary consul by the Icelandic Foreign Ministry, a position he had held for 18 years. According to a source familiar with the affairs of Iceland’s Foreign Ministry, the decision stemmed from the new governing coalition’s reluctance to keep in office someone associated with Aleksandr Lukashenko. In July 2025, Moshensky was also subject to Polish sanctions for his ties to the Belarusian regime.

We sent an official inquiry to Alexander Moshensky asking him to comment on the basis on which Darya Shmanai was residing in his apartment. Through his secretary, the businessman told the Buro reporter that he “does not comment on gossip”.
