Authorities classify financial records of media holding linked to Lukashenko’s daughter-in-law
Buro has discovered that the financial performance of the media holding company run by Aleksandr Lukashenko’s daughter-in-law has been classified as a “state tax secret” since 2025. This resolution was issued by Belarus’s Council of Ministers.

Almost all of Anna Lukashenko’s assets, better known as the songwriter Anna Seluk, have been classified as “tax secret”. These include the media production company Muzykalnaya Mediakompaniya, Muzykalnaya Chastota, which oversees the operations of three radio stations, and the newly established advertising agency Kreativny Kod.
Over the past year, Buro has observed a trend in which the Lukashenko family has increasingly concealed structural and financial information about companies linked to them and their close associates. All financial reports of companies controlled by the Lukashenko brothers, Victor and Dmitry, had previously been classified in the same manner. We also recently reported that the financial statements of Liudmila Niaronskaya’s fishing company – whose business interests are being lobbied for by the family of Victor Lukashenko – were declared a “state secret”.
Buro sent enquiries to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Taxes and Levies of the Republic of Belarus, and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. We asked for an explanation as to why information about the expenses and revenues of private companies has become a “state tax secret”.
We have received a response from the Ministry of Taxes and Levies. The agency stated that “the disclosure of the requested information is not provided for under legislation”.
Out of all the companies in the Seluk media holding, ANSL Production is the only one that wasn’t labelled “secret”. The beneficial owner is Andrei Urublevski, who is a senior manager under Anna Lukashenko-Seluk’s husband, Dmitry Lukashenko. This firm holds stakes in both Muzykalnaya Mediakompaniya and Kreativny Kod. ANSL Production’s net profit at the end of 2025 amounted to 266,000 Belarusian rubles.
The exact source of ANSL Production’s income is unclear. However, the firm filed corporate property tax returns from 2023 to 2025. This suggests that the company’s balance sheet includes real estate that ANSL Production can lease out.
